Mike Lilly is a NYC based comic book artist who freelances for all the major comic-book publishers on such titles as Nightwing, Batman: Detective Comics, Marvel Knights, Punisher, Catwoman, Green Lantern, X-Men Unlimited and Dungeons and Dragons.
He recently finsihed his critically acclaimed run on Vampirella Revelations from Harris Comics in which Mike won Best Black and White Illustration Art Show Award of Excellence from I-CON 25.
Currently, Mike is working on the much anticipated, creator-owned, WWII pulp adventure entitled The Mercury Chronicles from Markosia Comics with co-creator Vito (Batman Adventures) Delsante. He has also taken his talents to the interior design field collaborating with interior design family Kreiss Furnishings, with the work featured in the New York Times.
Besides his superhero work, Mike is most known in the Star Wars community for his wonderfully illustrated and highly sought after Star Wars Heritage original art sketch cards from Topps, Inc. His cards are the rarest in that line and are considered the most collectable. Mike’s original art sketch cards can also be seen for the Revenge of the Sith trading card line and the Lord of the Rings Evolution sketch cards, also from Topps, Inc.
Mike has also illustrated educational comics for Scholastic (Macbeth, Arabian Knights, Treasure Island, The Sword in the Stone, Jane Eyre), and Simon and Schuster. Medical Comics for GlaxoSmithKline and financial comics for Soloman Smith -Barney.
